They are photostable alternative reagents that are superior to FITC and FAM. 5-Carboxy-4,7-dichlororhodamine (dR110) is one of the four important 4,7-dichlororhodamine dyes, which are used as BigDye terminators for DNA sequencing along with d6G, dTMR, and dROX.
