DT2216 is a potent, selective depressant of BCL-XL (a member of the Bcl-2 family) in the PROTAC class. DT2216 degrades the BCR-ABL protein by recruiting Von Hippel Lindau (VHL) E3 ubiquitin ligase. DT2216 inhibits various BCL-XL-dependent leukemias and cancer cells, but is much less toxic to platelets.
