Product Introduction: Evans Blue and trypan blue are both cell reactive dyes, which are commonly used to detect the integrity of cell membrane and cell survival. Living cells can not be dyed blue by Evans Blue because of their efflux function, while dead cells can be dyed light blue. Therefore, dead cells and living cells can be distinguished under microscope by this method, but death and necrosis cannot be distinguished. Evan's Blue Stain Solution, 0.5% can be used for staining the blood-brain barrier, and the blood permeation site is dyed blue;Evan's Blue-TTC double staining can also be used to distinguish the infarcted area (IA), ischemic risk area (AAR), and total left ventricular area (LV) of the myocardium after ischemia-reperfusion injury.
