Product Introduction: Reticular fiber is a kind of fiber in the reticular connective tissue, which is produced by reticular cells. The diameter of reticular fiber is mostly 0.2-1.0 μm, and it has toughness but no elasticity. There are many dyeing methods for reticular fibers, but the dyeing principle is basically the same, and most of them use ammonia silver immersion method. Frozen, paraffin, and collodion sections can be used for reticular fiber staining. A variety of cross-linking and precipitation fixative solutions that are not oxidized by heavy metals can be employed, with heavy metal mercury or osmium salt fixators occasionally producing some nonspecific silver background. The principle of Gordon-Sweets resin-fiber staining is to use ammonia silver solution, which is easily adsorbed by the tissue, combined with the protein of the tissue, and reduced by formaldehyde to black or brown-black metallic silver, which is deposited in the tissue and its surface, and can be used to identify the nature and source of tumors.
