Oxazine 1 is one of the most fluorescent NIR dyes. It has an absorption around about 650 nm and an extinction coefficient greater than 100,000 M-1cm-1. It has a fluorescence emission of about 670 nm. Although oxazine 1 is very stable at pH 4 to pH 10, it may be reduced by high concentrations of some biomolecules such as DTT, GSH, etc. Oxazine 1 is also an effective fluorescent dye that is tunable around 670 nm.
