Ttbk1-in-2 is a potent inhibitor of Tau-Tubulin kinase (TTBK1). TTBK1-IN-2 has been reported to show good brain penetration in vivo, reducing TDP-43 phosphorylation in cell cultures, and was also able to reduce TDP-43 phosphorylation in the spinal cord of transgenic TDP-43 mice.
